About Dumps Nearby

Dumps Nearby helps you find where to take a load of trash, an old mattress, a pile of brush or a can of paint, without calling around. We are an independent directory and are not affiliated with any county, city or waste company.

Each listing shows what we know and where it comes from. Public data tells us where a site is and what it handles; for the busiest counties we also check the official website for hours, fees and residency rules, and show the month we checked. When we do not know something, we say so instead of guessing.

The site is free to use. We may earn a commission from some links, for example to Amazon, which helps pay for keeping the data current.

Questions or corrections: use the contact form. Read how we work with data on the data sources page.
